The 2025 Emmy Awards: ‘The Studio,’ ‘Adolescence,’ and ‘The Pitt’ Triumph in a Night of Surprises & Standing Ovations

In a ceremony that celebrated both established stars and shocking newcomers, the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards handed out television’s highest honors Sunday night. “The Studio” emerged as the biggest winner of the night with 13 awards, the most of any television show in a single night.

The evening, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, was full bof heartfelt moments, historic firsts, and a thunderous standing ovation for a late-night icon.

The Night’s Biggest Winners

“Adolescence” dominated the limited series categories, earning wins for its stars and creators. Stephen Graham won top acting honors, while Owen Cooper, at just 17 years old, became the youngest-ever male winner in an acting category for his supporting role. The show also swept the writing and directing awards for a limited series.

On the comedy side, Seth Rogen’s “The Studio” was a powerhouse, winning 13 awards including Outstanding Comedy Series. Rogen himself won for Lead Actor and shared wins for both writing and directing.
